Scot Conrad Joins Nor-Tech

Industry veteran Scot Conrad has joined Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats in Cape Coral, Fla. According to Terry Sobo, the company’s director of sales and marketing, Conrad will assist Nor-Tech’s owner, Trond Schou, in handling day-to-day operations.

“There is no change in ownership—Trond still owns Nor-Tech and Trond and Nils (Johnsen) are still partners” said Sobo. “Scot will help Trond run the company.”

Conrad echoed Sobo’s comments.

“I will help Trond run Nor-Tech day to day, as well as bring whatever benefits I can from past experience and relationships in terms of new sales and customers,” said Conrad, who now lives in Cape Coral.

Conrad has been working the Nor-Tech team for a month and a half. However, his role with Nor-Tech was officially announced in a teleconference 30 minutes ago.

“Scot also is looking to help Nor-Tech expand its marketing opportunities into communities outside the traditional high-performance marketplace,” said Sobo. “We’re happy to have Scot join our team—it’s great to have fresh ideas and new perspectives. We look forward to our future endeavors.”
