Advantage Delivers New 29 X-Flight with Mercury 565

advantage 29xflight side2Advantage Boats delivered this stylish new 29 X-Flight with a Mercury Racing 565 engine this week.

After riding in a friend’s 29 X-Flight from Advantage Boats, Scott and Lori—a couple from San Juan Capistrano, Calif.—fell in love with the boat and knew they had to have one. So they traded in their older sportboat and ordered one of the Lake Havasu City, Ariz., company’s 29-foot stepped V-bottoms, which feature a unique interior configuration incorporating the practicality and roominess of a deckboat with the style of a sportboat.

With plans to mainly use the 29 X-Flight on the Parker Strip (not far from Lake Havasu), the couple took delivery of the boat, which is powered by a Mercury Racing 565 engine, on Tuesday. Customized with an upgraded sound system, IMCO Marine full-hydraulic steering and Livorsi Marine DTS Controls and SmartCraft-enabled gauges, the walk-through version of the boat includes seating for up to 10 people.
