Aero-Marine Launches AM Hot Rod Glass

The talented crew at Aero-Marine is at it again. The Fontana, Calif., company announced in a press release that it is launching AM Hot Rod Glass, a new automotive acrylic windshield line, in conjunction with the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas at the end of October.

Aero-Marine is taking its acrylic windshield expertise from the marine market to the automotive industry with AM Hot Rod Glass.

Carmen Bélanger-Martin, president of Aero-Marine and AM Hot Rod Glass, has been working in the custom automotive industry since 2006 manufacturing optically clear acrylic windshields, sunroofs, head/tail lights for high-end clients such as West Coast Customs, Hollywood Hot Rods, Galpin Auto Sports and Columbia/Sony Pictures. So the decision to launch a new division of Aero-Marine made perfect sense.

“I’ve been working with West Coast Customs for a number of years on their hit shows ‘Street Customs’ and ‘Inside West Coast Customs’ and I have hands-on experience taking a vision or concept and turning it into a real functioning part that integrates into the custom car build and works while always preserving the optics and clarity,” Bélanger-Martin said. “Every time the shows air I would get a number of calls and requests from other custom builders or garage builders to help them resolve their windshield issues. I’ve seen the demand grow substantially in recent years so I decided to launch AM Hot Rod Glass.”

Bélanger-Martin said the company’s goal is to make hot rod renovation easy, accessible, simple and affordable. Whether it’s duplicating an older windshield model that is no longer available or designing a new prototype windshield, AM Hot Rod Glass can help custom builders expand their designs—just as Aero-Marine has done with custom boat builders from the likes of Skater.

If plan to visit SEMA, stop by the AM Hot Rod Glass booth (No. 23792 in Hot Rod Alley) and check out the acrylic windshields that the company says are designed to set new standards in the automotive industry.
