Builders Hope ‘New’ LA Boat Show is a Hit
Nordic Boats is one of many performance boat builders hoping this is the year the Los Angeles Boat Show starts its upswing.
For many years, make that decades, it was hard to argue that any event on the West Coast meant more to the boating market than the Los Angeles Boat Show. Especially when it came to go-fast boats.
It wasn’t all that long ago that the show covered two floors of the Los Angeles Convention Center and was home to a couple of dozen booths from West Coast custom builders such as Advantage, Caliber 1, Cheetah, Cobra, Conquest, DCB, Domn8er, Eliminator, Hallett, Howard, LaveyCraft, Magic, Nordic, Schiada, Ultra and more. Let’s not forget about the handful of engine builders and aftermarket parts suppliers catering to the performance crowd. I remember it well.
