Charleston Harbor Poker Run Moved Back To July

Like many of the early season events around the country, the third annual Charleston Harbor Poker Run in South Carolina was forced to postpone its mid-May event because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. Fortunately Chad Walton, the organizer of the event and the manager of the Facebook group Boat Life of Charleston, was able to find a new date that worked for him as well as the new host venue of the poker run— at Safe Harbor Bristol Marina and the Charleston Marriott.

The new dates for the event are July 10-12, and all the information in the story from February still applies.

Walton said interest in this year’s event has been at an all-time high and that he’s grateful he didn’t have to cancel the event, which benefits the Carolina Children’s Charity, altogether. For more information about the poker run or to become a sponsor, contact Walton at chadjwalton@yahoo.com.
