Cigarette 39 Top Fish

Cigarette 39 Top Fish

OK, so the 39 Top Fish from Cigarette Racing Team (www.cigaretteracing.com) probably wouldn’t be your top choice as a serious hardcore angling machine. If that’s what you’re after, think Yellowfin or even Midnight Express. But from top-end to handling, the 39 Top Fish outperforms just about every boat in its class—it is after all a Cigarette—and delivers the build-quality you rightly expect from the high-dollar custom builder. (With triple outboards, you can expect the 39 Top Fish to run in the low- to middle six-figure price range.)

In a nod to more serious anglers and divers, the company is introducing the 39 Top Fish Open—that means no cabin and more deck space—later this month.

And for those of you who think Cigarette founder Don Aronow would be rolling over in his grave at the thought of a Cigarette fishing boat, think again. One of Cigarette’s first models, introduced under Aronow, was a center-console 28-footer.
