Countdown to Key West: Nor-Tech’s Wide-Ranging Fleet

Along with several of the company’s performance center consoles owned by customers from as far away as Texas and New Jersey, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats is expecting to have an impressive—and wide-ranging—fleet of boats in the upcoming Key West Poker Run.

The company’s extraordinary 52-foot catamaran with a pair of Mercury Racing 1350 engines owned by Don Lightfoot is registered for the run as is the as equally stunning—in a different way—420 Monte Carlo with twin Mercury 700SCi engines owned by Texas boaters Cody and Veronica Lovins.

And, according to Nor-Tech’s Terry Sobo, who is quite busy with Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show preparation, the company’s second 360 MC Flyer—a pearl white one with twin Mercury Verado 300 engines—will be in Key West drawing plenty of eyeballs no doubt. (You can read all about the company’s first model in the Sept/Oct issue of Speed On The Water magazine.)

The Fort Myers, Fla., company is a sponsor of the event, which is ran by the Florida Powerboat Club, so look for one of the builder’s boats at the docks of the Conch Republic.
