Countdown To Miami 2022: New Center Console—And 460 Flyer—To Anchor Nor-Tech Exhibit

The buzz around Nor-Tech’s new high-performance center console has been getting louder of late, but it hasn’t been getting any clearer. That will change next month when fans of the Fort Myer, Fla.-based brand get their first look at the latest Nor-Tech creation dubbed the 400 SuperSport at the Miami International Boat Show, which is scheduled for February 16-20.

Until then, the Nor-Tech crew is staying tight-lipped on the reportedly luxurious 40-footer powered by four Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines—like all models the builder is exhibiting in Miami this year.

“All can say is it’s not done yet but will be ready for show,” said Geoff Tomlinson, the company’s dealer manager. “And you’re going to love it.”

Henrik Margård, Nor-Tech’s chief operating officer, was equally reserved when it came to details on the new offering.

“The 400 SuperSport will be showcased inside the convention center alongside one of our favorite 450 Sport center consoles ever built,” he said. “That much I can tell you.”

Across Biscayne Bay at Sea Isle Marina and Yachting Center—the show’s in-water venue—Nor-Tech will have a 460 Flyer and a 392 SuperFish at the Mercury Racing docks. Both will be available for demo rides.
