Countdown To Miami: Cigarette Reveal Hint

What do you see when you look at the image below? That’s what Skip Braver and company at Cigarette Racing Team in Opa-Locka, Fla., want you to ask yourself in advance of the upcoming Miami International Boat Show, which opens Feb. 14. Dropping hints in advance of the annual event at Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key—where the company spares no expense with its floating display—is Cigarette tradition.

A familiar form, perhaps, but that’s all Cigarette is ready to reveal for now about its Miami show debut model (click image to enlarge).

So what is it? The lines look familiar and—if you’re like me—you probably think you know what’s coming. Nothing wrong with that. Again, Cigarette wants you to guess—they put it out there this morning.

Then again, in teasers for a special edition 38′ Top Gun, Cigarette made the V-bottom, which was on a tilt trailer, look like a catamaran. So it might not be what it seems.

For the record, here’s what Cigarette is saying about it: “In three weeks, Cigarette Racing Team will once again change the game. See our latest creation at the Miami International Boat Show.”

Less than helpful, I know. But then, Braver and his team love to build anticipation and they take their Miami show reveals seriously. More hints are sure to follow but for now—educated or not—we’re left to guess.
