Deep Impact Center Console/Lamborghini Photo Op To Benefit Cancer Charity

Visitors to the Deep Impact exhibit at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which opens Thursday, will find something unusual this year—a Lamborghini Gallardo automobile next to the company’s new 399 Cabin center console. As a symbol of the fight against breast cancer, the exotic convertible car, courtesy of South Beach Exotic Rentals, boasts a totally pink wrap handled by Metro Wrapz.

The Miami-based high-performance center console builder will be soliciting donations to the Dallas-based Susan G. Komen Foundation for cancer research and treatment. Show visitors who donate to the charity—donations begin at $5 per person—will be allowed to sign the automobile and will have their picture taken by local celebrity photographer Derick G.

“The people who donate will also get a pink wristband and a bow, if they choose to wear one,” said Mari De Armas, the marketing manager for Deep Impact.
