Deep Impact to Build Seven Marine Outboard-Powered Models

Coming out of the recent Miami International Boat Show, Deep Impact Boats reportedly has orders for three of its performance center consoles powered by multiple 557-hp V-8 outboard engines from Seven Marine. That’s the word from Randall Truesdale, the director of marketing, sales and technology for the Miami-based performance boat builder.

sevenmarineoutboardsRated at 557 hp, outboard engines from Seven Marine reportedly will be installed on three center console offerings from Deep Impact.

“As it stands, there are three in the pipeline—a 36, a 39 Cabin and a 39 Open—all with 557s,” said Truesdale. “The first buyer is actually building the 36 and 39 Open. The 36 will stay in Miami. The 39 Open will be going to Russia.”

According to Truesdale, the company’s new Poker Run Edition Deep Impact 399, which debuted at the 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat in late 2013, also attracted substantial interest during the Miami event. Deep Impact built the “Lamborghini orange” 39-footer in collaboration with Mark and Eileen Fischer of Boats Direct USA, the company’s Key Largo, Fla.-based dealer.

“We are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with Boats Direct,” said Lazaro Hernandez, the owner of Deep Impact Boats, in a press release from the company. “Mark and Eileen have been Deep Impact supporters and have given us the greatest visibility.”
