Featured Boat: 1999 Cigarette 38′ Top Gun

Offered by Big Thunder Marine in Lake Ozark, Mo., this 1999 Cigarette Racing Team 38′ Top Gun is a factory original SSM6 boat converted to dry sump with 1,000-hp engines from Pfaff Engines that were refreshed by Boyd’s Racing Engines in Oklahoma. According to Big Thunder, the engines have 82 hours on the complete refresh handled by Central Power & Rigging. The setup includes BAM Marine 1500 transmissions and Mercury Racing 17.5 x 31 1,200-hp five-blade propellers.

Capable of 100-plus mph, the Cigarette—aka Runnin’ With The Devil—features Mercury 380S K-Planes, an aluminium swim platform, cockpit carpet, a new dash with Livorsi Marine gauges, a Garmin GPSmap 5208 display, Latham Marine billet shifters/throttles, Vincent Custom Paint graphics, freshwater system, marine head, Sony CDX-H910UI head unit with amps, subs and cockpit speakers, sea strainers, freshwater flush system, shore power and a ProSport 20 battery charger.

Price is $139,950. A Pacific triple-axle trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes is included. Big Thunder Marine considers all trades, and delivery and insurance is available.
