Featured Boat: 2018 MTI-V 42 from Wake Effects

Offered by Wake Effects in Osage Beach, Mo., this company demo model MTI-V 42 was recently dropped off at the Lake of the Ozarks-based dealership. It’s currently the only brand new 42-foot luxury performance center console from MTI available for immediate delivery.

Featuring quad Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines, the elegant silver and black 42-footer is upgraded with MTI’s “S.S.” interior, giving it sportier styling, taller seatbacks, recessed cupholders, gunwale upholstery and more. The boat is equipped with color-changing underwater LED, SeaDek flooring, dual Garmin 8617 screens and an upgraded JL Audio entertainment system. Last but not least, the MTI-V 42 has an air conditioner, a cabin refrigerator and an inverter.

The boat, which provides an incredibly stable and smooth ride, tops out around 80 mph. At 50 mph, the MTI-V 42 gets about 1 mpg, giving it a range of more than 400 miles.
