Mystic Powerboats finished its first six-person, full canopy CS5000 catamaran late last week. The boat is powered by twin 1,850-hp turbine engines. Constructed of carbon fiber—including its solethe 50-footer, which was painted with McLaren silver paint and boasts a “Ferrari-inspired” interior, weighs less than 12,000 pounds, according to John Cosker of Mystic, which is based in DeLand, Fla.

“All six seats are done in real suede and have five-point restraints,” said Cosker. “The boat even has Ferrari F-430 vents. The owner had to send in his V.I.N. to get them.”

Amenities for the $1.8 million cat include an extensive stereo system and air-conditioning.

“It’s pretty plush, actually,” said Cosker.

The boat will be based in Miami—its owner lives in Texas but has a home in South Florida—and should have its first sea trial in the next week and a half.
