Four Horsemen Poker Run Hosting ‘Warm Your Engines’ Party

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Four Horsemen Poker Run June 7-8 in Oshkosh, Wis., will host its annual pre-event “Warm Your Engines” party at the Dockside Tavern this Saturday night. Organizer Shannon Radtke and Jason Lindemann, her business partner and the owner of the Sweetwater Performance Center and Marina—the event’s host venue—are encouraging participants to join them for this weekend’s celebration, which will include live entertainment and drink specials.

The party starts at 7 p.m.

“It’s our kick-off to poker run season and a great way for you to meet some of your fellow poker runners, as well as some of the partners that make this event possible,” said Radtke.

Last year’s Four Horsemen Poker Run attracted almost 80 high-performance V-bottom sportboats, center consoles and catamarans. Radtke said her goal this year is to have 100 boats in the fleet and that registration has been solid so far.

“I am thrilled at the number of new runners we are welcoming to the family this year,” she said. “It’s not too late to register, but hurry. Registration will close at the end of April—if not sooner.

“Our block at the Best Western Waterfront (the event’s host hotel) is also running low so please call and get your room as soon as possible,” she continued. “Mention the Four Horsemen when reserving your rooms so you receive our block rate.
