Volunteers are needed for course marshal and safety boats, event setup and operation including raffle ticket and gear sales, and more.

“Though I’m looking for six to eight volunteers, I will take as many as I can get,” said Radtke. “I will find jobs for all of them before and during the run. During the meeting, we’ll discuss all of the volunteer opportunities and start assigning people to their posts.”

“Even if I could have a couple of volunteers around Saturday morning for any ‘unforeseen circumstances’ while we’re out on the run, that would be great,” she added. “And I definitely need some help getting set up on Saturday morning.”

At present, there are 70 boats registered for the poker run.
