Riding on a redesigned five-step hull and powered by staggered Mercury Racing 700SCi engines, the first new Frisini 38 Hypersonic V-bottom reached 110 mph in testing, according to a press release from the Fort Pierce, Fla., company. The recently completed 38-footer reportedly has been delivered to owners Jeff and Linda Raley of Tennessee.

“The 38 Hypersonic was designed with performance and functionality in mind,” said Tony Frisina, the owner of Frisini Motorsports, in the release. “We put a lot of effort into testing, and we’re excited to report the 38 runs an unprecedented 110 mph. We’re proud of that considering it is loaded with amenities for the whole family.”

The 38 Hypersonic features a five-person cockpit and a cabin with 6 feet of headroom, air conditioning and a full head compartment with a stand-up shower. Grafik EFX handled the boat’s custom paint job and Fine Line Interiors installed the upholstery.
