GEICO Signs On As Presenting Sponsor for 2015 SBI Season

GEICO will be the “Presenting Sponsor” for Super Boat International‘s 2015 offshore racing season, according to yesterday’s press release from the Key West, Fla.-based offshore racing organization. The new agreement was made with “the mutual intent of both parties for it to become a ‘multi-year sponsorship agreement,'” the release stated.

“We are pleased to have signed an agreement with GEICO as our presenting sponsor,” said John Carbonell, the president of SBI, in the release. “They are a great company and we are looking forward to the new relationship.”

“GEICO is pleased to be the presenting sponsor of the 2015 Super Boat International Racing Series,” said Gary Goodell, the managing member of the Miss GEICO Offshore racing team. “GEICO is committed to offshore racing, powerboats and motorsports, and is extremely proud to be associated with Super Boat International.”

• Annual Space Coast Super Boat Grand Prix, Cocoa Beach, Fla., May 15-17

• Presents Marathon Super Boat Grand Prix, Fla., Florida July 3-5

• 7th Annual Super Boat Great Lakes Grand Prix, Michigan City, Ind., July 31-Aug 2

• Pensacola Grand Prix, Pensacola, Fla., Aug 21-23

• 7th Annual bright house Clearwater Super Boat National Championship, Clearwater, Fla., Sept 25-27

• 35th Annual Key West World Championship, Key West, Fla., Nov 8-15
