Hot Auction Items Coming In For SOTW/OSO Key West Bash

With less than two months to go before the annual Speedonthewater.com/Offshoreonly.com Key West Bash on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Sandbar Sports Grill, the list of live auction goodies is building quickly. Inspired by the Speedonthewater.com Boyne Thunder Experience auction item, the organizers of the third annual 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run have donated a package, which includes the entry fee, V.I.P. dock space and three nights in the 1,000 Islands Harbor Hotel, for the 2019 event.

All proceeds from the auction will go to benefit Key West-based Samuel’s House, which is “a safe haven in a sober setting for women and intact families that have no home,” according to the nonprofit organization’s website.

Here’s a quick look at some of the other auction items

• Airbrush wizard Chris Mills of Boat Customs in Caledonia, Mich., is donating a custom-painted “shot-ski”—a pair of those wacky creations painted by Mills reportedly fetched approximately $12,000 during the auction at the 2018 Boyne Thunder Poker Run in Michigan.

• Shaun Torrente is donating a set of STR X-ACT components.

• Justin Wagner of Waves And Wheels is donating a Bluave Marine Audio stereo speaker package.

• Mercury Racing is donating a branded Mercury Racing Yeti cooler. The same type of branded cooler raised $8,900 at the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run auction.

• Longtime speedonthewater.com team member Bob Teague of Teague Custom Marine is donating a TCM Gift Pack.

Of course, there are more items to come. So mark your calendar for Nov. 8 and we’ll see you there. Because this is one party you don’t want to miss.
