Not everyone is fortunate enough to be in the water as part of the enormous spectator fleet or on the docks at Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill in Sunrise Beach, Mo., for the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, but did you know that whether you’re in California, Wisconsin, Australia or Norway, you can catch all of the racing action as it unfolds this weekend (Aug. 24-25)? Well you can, and the process is simple—click here to watch the live coverage online. Smartphone users may also download the “ustream” app and search “shootout.”

As usual the crew from KRMS Radio will be handling the broadcast of the Shootout, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Held at Captain Ron’s, the top-speed runs begin on Saturday at 10 a.m. (CDT) and continue until 5 p.m. Sunday’s runs kick off at 10 a.m. and finish at 3 p.m., with the awards ceremony to follow.

There are also other ways for locals to catch all of the action. You can watch a full eight hours both days on CHARTER cable, channels 20 and 89, or you can catch a condensed version on FOX KRBK or FOX 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. You can also listen on KRMS Radio.
