Iconic, Mystic, Adrenaline And More Backing Jacksonville Event

Validating the hard work and dedication of organizers Greg Harris and Yvonne Aleman, the high-performance marine powerboat industry is stepping up in a big way to support the Jacksonville River Rally and Poker Run (May 16-19) in Northern Florida. Iconic Marine Group, the North Carolina-based parent company of the Baja, Donzi and Fountain brands, has signed on as the event’s presenting sponsor.

The presenting sponsor for the 2019 Jacksonville happening, Iconic Marine Group will showcase Donzi and Fountain models—such as the Donzi Iconic 44 catamaran above— in the event.

“Martin Rusin (Iconic’s public relations manager) has been involved since we first spoke about it at last year’s Lake of the Ozarks Shootout on the Strip street party,” Harris said.

Located in DeLand, Fla., Mystic Powerboats has committed to one of the event’s in water-sponsorships, as has Adrenaline Powerboats. Another Sunshine State-based marine industry business, Broward Trailer has signed on as a dockside sponsor.

The sponsorships carry more than vital funding for the event and Camp Amigo, its benefiting charity. They add hardware to the fleet. Iconic plans to bring “an assortment of Donzi and Fountain models,” according to Harris. Mystic will showcase a new M4200 luxury performance center console and a C3800 sport catamaran. Adrenaline will have its 47-foot stern-drive and new 45-foot outboard engine-powered models in the mix. Broward will have a tent display, which may even include a new trailer model, on site.

“We are proud and honored to have these fine companies join our efforts,” Harris said. “We may not be the biggest event for them, but they are showing that a regional run can still have a big heart and give them more face-time with potential customers.

“River City Brewing has again stepped up and given us the best value for our Saturday night dinner venue,” he continued. “As always we are still looking for items for our Saturday Raffle and Silent auction to add to our overall donations to Camp Amigo.”

Sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming event are still available and registration, which has been solid so far with participants from around the country signing up, remains open.
