Image Of The Week: Cigarette 41 AMG Carbon Edition Head On

Collaboration No. 11 between Cigarette Racing Team and Mercedes-AMG, the 41 AMG Carbon Edition center console had a lot to compete with at the Cigarette display during the Miami International Boat Show, which closed earlier this week. But the quad Mercury Racing Verado 400R-powered 41-footer had an advantage over the other beauties that the Opa-Locka, Fla., sportboat and performance center console builder—celebrating its 50th anniversary this year—showcased in Miami.

It wasn’t dock-locked in the matrix of Cigarette’s beautiful display.

And that meant the 41 AMG Carbon Edition could be part of speedonthewater.com’s annual Friday morning photo shoot, which will feed the “Boats Of Miami” feature in our upcoming January/February Speed On The Water digital magazine. The Cigarette-AMG creation was one of six models that “stole the show” in Miami this year, but before speedonthewater.com chief photographer Pete Boden shot it there were no images of the boat in action.

Now there are. And there are more to follow in our upcoming digital magazine.
