Image of the Week: Classic, Clean And Simple—And Headed To Key West

Don’t pardon the pun, but this 38-foot Top Gun dubbed Zero Patience leads a pack of Cigarettes that heads from Key Largo to Key West, Fla., during the second week of November each year. Captured by photographer Pete Boden on a blustery day in November 2014, the classic 38-footer is owned by Jim and Patty Kirkland.

According to Boden, the six- to eight-boat Cigarette fleet runs down independently of the Florida Powerboat Club’s annual Key West Poker Run that will see more than 150 boats journey—in two major waves—to Key West next week. A classic V-bottom heading for a classic destination—while this image is simple, they simply don’t get much better.
