Image of the Week, Part II: Miss GEICO’s Business End

From the Unlimited class to the Production class, domestic offshore powerboat racing’s finest competitors have been getting in their final test runs this week before heading to Key West, Fla., for next week’s Super Boat International World Championships. Among those teams getting in their last practice strokes before they roll south was Miss GEICO, the defending SBI Unlimited-class world champion.

Said Granet after today’s testing: “Time to get down to business.”

Before he headed out on the water near Riviera Beach, Fla., with throttleman Scott Begovich this morning, driver Marc Granet sent us this with the following two words of text:

“All business.”

“We had a successful day,” said Granet via telephone after today’s testing. “Gary Stray and crew are going over the boat tonight and doing some final tuning, and then they’ll prepare the boat to head to Key West. We’ll test again on Tuesday in Key West.

“And then it’s time to get down to business,” he added.
