Inside SOTW Mag: The Tony Cutsuries Interview

Tony Cutsuries started his career in the high-performance marine world in 1998 in sales work for a couple of then-popular powerboat dealerships. Since then, Cutsuries, who grew up around powerboats in his home state of Ohio, has worked as an in-house salesman for three of the best-known builders in the industry. He began that journey with Fountain Powerboats in Washington, N.C., and stayed there until heading to Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats in Bristol, R.I., in 2006. In 2015, Cutsuries accepted Skater Powerboats owner/founder Peter Hledin’s offer to become the Douglas, Mich., company’s national sales manager.

To say that trio of industry mavericks made an impact on the now-49-year-old would understate things. And as an employee of all three men, those experiences give him a unique perspective. Here’s what he had to say about the three iconic boat-builders.
