Livorsi Trim Tabs Now Available with 11 Powder Coat Colors and Private Labels

Introduced at the Miami International Boat Show in February, Livorsi Marine’s billet hydraulic trim tabs are now available in 11 brilliant powder coat colors as well as a private labeling option, according to a company press release. With the ability to add a custom logo, the Grayslake, Ill., company explained that the laser etching on the powder coat or anodize finish anneals the metal, making it impervious to saltwater corrosion.

Livorsi Marine now produces its trim tabs in 11 different powder coat options and offers private labeling.

“Obviously having a color choice for the tabs is a great option,” said Livorsi Marine founder Mike Livorsi. “We’re excited to give boat builders the choice to add a company logo, but we’ll also add names and logos of personal boats for any customer. Heck we can put a significant other’s face on there if that’s what you want.”

The tabs, which are available for 12- and 24-volt configurations on 20- to 50-foot performance boats, center consoles, cruisers, workboats, runabouts, military boats and more, are built from CNC-machined billet aluminum and are Mil-Spec hard coat anodized, topped with a powder coat finish and five anodes to prevent saltwater corrosion. They are offered in several sizes, ranging from the 750 to 1050 models, depending on boat design and size.

Boaters can choose between LED electronic position indication or mechanical position indication (using 33C cables). The electronic sender models are capable of reading trim indication with NMEA 2000-compliant systems and Mercury VesselView systems. The electronic IP68 sensor used on the tabs plugs into Livorsi’s LED position indicators for immediate display.

Utilizing all stainless-steel hardware and hinge pins, the tabs feature hydraulic cylinders that are designed with dual seals and 1,500 PSI working pressure, while the bolt patterns include Mercury and a smaller Livorsi pattern for center consoles.
