MTI Debuting First 57-Foot Sport Fish Center Console in Fort Lauderdale

The team at Marine Technology Inc., in Wentzville, Mo., shared a picture earlier today on social media that’s got many a MTI fans going bonkers over the company’s latest MTI-V 57 center console—the first one geared up specifically for fishing.

The 57-footer, which features a full tower with a second station, is going to be on display at next week’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (Oct. 31-Nov. 4), along with a stunning MTI-V 42 luxury performance center console and a brand new special-edition 340X sport catamaran featuring a “stage three” paint job, a one-of-a-kind interior and a 24-inch Garmin GPS screen.

“We’re super excited about the Fort Lauderdale show—it’s been a great show for us the past few years and we’re hoping it’s going to be a positive one again,” said Scism. “We’re very excited about the new 57 sport fish, that boat is going to get a lot of attention.”

Scism said he can’t wait to run the next-level 57-footer after the show with longtime MTI customer Richard Bennett of South Carolina, who is planning to run the boat the following week in the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Poker Run.

Powered by quad Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines and equipped with autopilot and joystick controls, the sport fishing version of the MTI-V 57 is loaded with rocket launchers, live wells and tackle stations, not to mention a full cabin complete with a double berth, galley, lounge and separate enclosed electric head and shower.
