Nichols Launches ‘Flashback’ Digital Photo Series

If you like the style of high-performance powerboat photographer Jay Nichols, you’ll love his new Flashback Series of images, which he plans to update weekly with one new photo a week on his Facebook page. Rather than the multiple sponsor names and logos Nichols usually incorporates in the bottom of his photos, he’ll be showcasing just one primary sponsor in each Flashback image. (Speedonthewater.com also will feature each week’s Flasback image to support Nichols, a longtime contributing photographer to the website and Speed On The Water digital magazine.

“By using older images from my archives, my idea is to give additional exposure to the people who have helped and are helping me the most,” said Nichols. “I will rotate between them to feature just one logo on each shot. Whenever possible, I will try to match image to sponsor with at least some implied relevance.”
