The first quad 300-hp Suzuki outboard-powered center console, this Nor-Tech 390 CC is going to a Double-R Performance client who will use it in the Bahamas.

Sold to a client of Double R Performance, Nor-Tech’s dealer in Toronto, Canada, the boat is headed to the Bahamas. Peter Roberts of Double R said the customer ordered the Suzuki outboards because he is familiar and comfortable with them, and has ready access to a service center in the region where the boat will be kept.

“There were some challenges in putting it together because they had never done a quad Suzuki outboard boat, but they got through all of them and the boat came out fantastic,” said Roberts, who is attending the Miami International Boat Show this week. “From what I’ve been told, it accelerates like crazy with the Suzuki outboards, which are naturally aspirated and real torquey.

“The boat is fully equipped for exploring the Bahamas,” he continued. “It has an additional fuel tank, a bow thruster, twin 15-inch Garmin GPS screens, autopilot, night vision, a full fishing package and a second row of bolsters. It even has a ski tow on it. The helm station and even the coolers are painted to match the hull colors.”
