Nor-Tech Going With Trio Of Display Locations For Miami Boat Show

Fans of Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats will not lack for options when it comes to checking out their favorite brand during the Miami International Boat Show set for February 15-19. The Fort Myers, Fla.-headquartered company is bringing five center consoles to this year’s South Florida happening, and will have them in three different locations.

In its Miami Beach Convention Center display, Nor-Tech’s exhibit will showcase a 450 Sport center console and a 400 Super Sport center console, a model the builder introduced at the 2022 Miami event. The 45-footer is going to Good Boy Vodka/hard seltzer impresario and Class 1 offshore powerboat racer Alex Pratt. A longtime Nor-Tech client, Jesse Neumann is the proud of owner of the 40-footer, which he ordered as a “bridge boat” before his next 500 Sport center console is finished.

Though Nor-Tech has enough space in the convention center for another model, the company is sticking with a two-boat display by design.

“Nor-Tech opted to have the same setup as last year to make plenty of space for our client-and-vendor vendor appreciation event,” said Geoff Tomlinson, Nor-Tech’s dealer manager. “We had an amazing turnout last year and really saw the value in partnering with our vendors and hosting again.

Nor-Tech fans will get their first look at the new 400 SS center console Stephen Miles Design painted for owner Jesse Neumann of Minnesota.

“We’ll be announcing details on the event shortly through individual Evites, social media and speedonthewater.com,” he added.

For demo rides at the Venetian Marina and Yacht Club—formerly Sea Isle Marina—the company will have a 392 SuperFish at the Mercury Marine/Mercury Racing docks. Nor-Tech fans who happen to find themselves a little farther south in Coconut Grove also can check out a new 450 Sport and 400 SS. Both will be displayed at Grove Harbour Marina.
