Nor-Tech Prepares for Suncoast Boat Show in Sarasota

A couple of weeks after enjoying the Florida Powerboat Club‘s Tampa Bay Poker Run, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats and Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boat Sales of Fort Lauderdale will be showcasing a couple of center console models at the 32nd annual Suncoast Boat Show in Sarasota, Fla., at the end of this week (April 25-27).

Produced by Show Management, the group behind the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and other Florida boat shows, the Suncoast Boat Show offers a wide range of boats, electronics and other accessories on display in the water and on land at Marina Jack’s in downtown Sarasota.

“The Sarasota show has grown significantly in the last several years and continues to create more and more buzz,” said Brandon Weppner, who handles customer relations and marketing for the Cape Coral, Fla., boat builder. “The show is in the heart of downtown Sarasota, making it a very pleasant location as guests can visit the show, take sea trials and enjoy the city’s nearby attractions that are within walking distance.”

Weppner said representatives from Nor-Tech and Bob Crow of the Fort Lauderdale dealership are set to showcase a 340 center console with triple Mercury Verado 350 engines and a 390 center console with quad Verado 300s from Mercury.

“We are very excited about this boat show because we believe Sarasota is a great haven for serious boaters that have yet to experience our product,” Weppner added. “We think our brand has spectacular growth opportunities in the city of Sarasota and the surrounding areas thanks to the community’s amazing boating atmosphere.”

Although there won’t be many other performance boats on display at the show, Formula Boats is planning to have five boats on display from its 270 Bow Rider to its 370 Super Sport.
