Nor-Tech To Deliver Another 3,000 KN95 Masks

From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats in Fort Myers, Fla., has been at the forefront of gathering essentials for its local community. In addition to producing safety masks for frontline healthcare workers and gathering canned and dry goods for local food banks, the company recently tapped its vendors for financial assistance in acquiring 3,000 KN95 masks delivered to Lee Health of Southwest Florida.

Thanks to additional generous support from its vendor-partners, Nor-Tech will deliver another 3,000 masks tomorrow.

“When we donated the last round of masks, I asked the gentleman in charge of receiving them if they were still needed and if they would be in the future,” said Henrik Margård, Nor-Tech’s vice-president of production. “He told me they are going to need more for a while, so we reached out to our vendors again. And they came through.”

The second round of masks was funded by key Nor-Tech vendors including North American Composites, TriNet (a human resources company), dealers Bent Marine and Double R Performance, Premier Performance Interiors, Action Welding and Castaway Customs.

Said Margård, “It is amazing to see all our partners step up to help. We love doing this stuff.”
