Nordic 29 Deck Boat Owner is Another Satisfied Customer

Mike Tracy, an Arcadia, Ariz., resident, is one of many satisfied customers who have taken delivery of a new ride from Nordic Boats in the last six months. With guidance from his wife, Stacie, Tracy decided to purchase his first deck boat from the Lake Havasu City, Ariz., builder—and he’s glad he went with Nordic.

Mike and Stacie Tracy are happy with the decision to power their Nordic Boats 29 Deck Boat with twin Mercury Racing OptiMax 300XS engines.

After doing some research he came to the conclusion that a pair of outboards—specifically Mercury Racing OptiMax 300XS engines—would give him the best bang for his buck on a new 29 Deck Boat from Nordic.

“I wanted to do something different and the outboards provided that opportunity,” Tracy said, adding that he’s never owned an outboard-powered boat—his last was a Magic Powerboats 29 Wizard with a MerCruiser 496 Mag HO engine and he’s had other stern-drive and jet-powered boats. “Not only do we get better fuel economy than a 600-hp stern-drive model, I think we could probably outrun one.”
