Nordic Boats Ready for Next Week’s Fred Hall Show

Last weekend Nordic Boats General Manager Thane Tiemer and the rest of the crew representing the Lake Havasu City, Ariz., company were in Southern California showcasing six shiny new models at the Los Angeles Boat Show. Next week some of those boats will be back in Southern California at the Fred Hall Show in Long Beach from Wednesday, March 4 to Sunday, March 8. According to Nordic’s John Lovell, who called the L.A. show awesome, the company will have four boats on display at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.

Powered by one of the new Mercury Verado 400R engines, Nordic Boats will be showing off this 26 Deck Boat at the Fred Hall Show.

Three of the boats were on display at the L.A. Convention Center—a 26 Deck Boat powered by an all-new Mercury Racing Verado 400R engine, a red and blue 24 SX with a 550-hp supercharged LS engine and an American Turbine jet drive, and a 26 Deck Boat with a 520-hp Mercury Racing engine. Lovell said the fourth boat is a 25 Rage fully loaded with a wakeboard tower, trim tabs, an extended swim platform and a center door. “You name it, it’s on it,” he said.

Lovell and Tiemer are looking forward to the Long Beach show as they’ve sold two boats there each of the last two years. Coming off an L.A. show in which Nordic sold a half-dozen boats and still has several potential buyers in the works according to Lovell, it’s safe to say that the guys have a lot of work to do when they get home.
