Official Statement from the Fiore-Whipple Families

Speedonthewater.com just received the following official release from the Fiore and Whipple families:

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all for the concern and overwhelming support. While there have been many false and inaccurate reports, we would like to let everyone know that Joel Begin has been released from the hospital and that Mike Fiore is stable and responsive. We will release any new information when it’s available.

Editor’s Note: Fiore and Begin were injured in an accident in Begin’s 46-foot Outerlimits catamaran during the first day of the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. Speedonthewater.com continues to send prayers and best wishes to the families and friends of everyone involved.
