“Mike’s love for high-speed boating was only outmatched by the love for his wife, three young children and his family,” Sciacca continued. “Details on arrangements will be made and released in the coming days, and in the meantime we hope all understand the family’s need to grieve for their loss privately.”

The extraordinary Factory Billet V-bottom was one of Fiore’s greatest works of art.

All of us a speedonthewater.com are saddened by the loss and will provide more details as available. Fiore was an innovator, a champion, a loving father and, most of all, a friend. Rest in peace Mike.

Editor’s note: A feature on Fiore and Outerlimits’ 20th anniversary was included in the July/August 2013 issue of Speed On The Water magazine. Download it for free here.
