Outerlimits Owners Rendezvous Planned For Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

In what could end up being the largest fleet of Outerlimits performance boats in the same place at one time, the custom V-bottom and catamaran builder has scheduled an “informal” Outerlimits Owners Rendezvous for Friday, August 26, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri. Coconuts Caribbean Beach Bar & Grill in Gravois Mills, Mo., will be the host venue for the gathering, which is open to Outerlimits owners, their guests and fans of the brand, as well as the general public.

“The Shootout is a really big event that draws boaters from all over the country,” said Dan Kleitz, the Bristol, R.I., boat-builder’s production manager. “Between the Outerlimits owners who call the lake home and those that travel to it, I’m hoping to have at least 20 boats there.”

Free dockage will be available to the participants. Outerlimits will provide one giveaway bag with four commemorative T-shirts and more to each boat. Complimentary appetizers and soft drinks will be served throughout the afternoon.

Kleitz said he expects Outerlimits owners to form small groups and head to the event together.

“I’m sure there will be some groups running there,” he said. “They’ll all meet up at Coconuts and decide where to go after that if they want to.”
