“We always have a good showing of boats from our customers in Key West,” said Kleitz. “They come from all over the country to be there for the week. We wanted them to have the opportunity to get out on the water so we said, ‘Let’s get the group together and go boating.’”

Kleitz said he expects the boats to depart at approximately 11:30 a.m., enjoy lunch at the Faro Blanco Resort and return in the mid to late afternoon. While participants can show up at the last minute, Kleitz and his fellow organizers would prefer to have a solid head count as early as possible so they can try to secure a specific area for docking.

“Faro Blanco is quite a large facility, but the earlier we know how many boats and people we have, the better,” said Kleitz.

The Key West event is the second official Outerlimits-specific gathering of the 2017 season. In late August, a group of Outerlimits owners also got together for a fun run and lunch on the Friday before the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout competition in Central Missouri. Interested participants can reach Janssen at 303-886-6800.
