Performance Boat Center Orders Two Outerlimits for New Redhead Yacht Club

Manire said the plan is to demolish the buildings on the current property (Yacht Club Marina) and build more than 40,000 square feet of new buildings to specifically support performance boats of all sizes.

Along with a new showroom, offices, service center, indoor storage and paint shop for Performance Boat Center, the Redhead Yacht Club will include more than 100 slip rentals from 10’ by 20’ to 20’ by 60’ with water, electrical, Internet access, a full-service fuel dock in calm water and a large launch ramp. For slip tenants, the complex will include new bath and laundry houses as well.

Manire said construction on the new development starts in the spring. He’s expecting the buildings and marina to be finished by mid-summer, and is hoping that Bikinis Pool Bar and Grill, which is being billed as one of the largest pool bars on the lake, will be completed in time for the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout at the end of August.

“I’m pretty excited about having the large pool with a swim-up bar on the property,” said Manire, who will be at the Miami International Boat Show in the Outerlimits booth next week and participating in the Florida Powerboat Club’s Miami Boat Show Poker Run the following week. “People will be able to come see the new boats, utilize the marina and other services, and jump in the pool and have a drink. We’re hoping this facility becomes a lake staple. I’m also anticipating that the new location will help us build our national presence along with foster our business within the local community.”

Along with a couple of Florida Powerboat Club events, he said he’s planning to participate in poker runs in Chattanooga, Tenn., Grand Lake, Okla., Lake Cumberland, Ky., and more.

Speedonthewater.com will follow up on the construction process of the new facility and plans to visit the property during the Shootout festivities.
