Performance Boat Center—formerly Performance Boat Brokerage—has become an Outerlimits dealer, according to company principal Brett Manire. The full service performance boat dealership and service and restoration/customization center is based in the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., area.

“We just signed a contract and purchased two new Outerlimits today—we are the only Outerlimits dealer in the country,” said Manire in a telephone interview this morning. “I just bought an SV29 that will be powered by a Mercury Racing 600SCi engine and we’re buying the first 36’ Super Legarra. It’s a stand-up pleasure boat with a full cabin, and we’re getting the first one.”

Like the first Outerlimits SV29 show here, the 29-footer ordered by Performance Boats Center will be powered by a 600-hp engine from Mercury Racing.

Manire and a partner purchased the business in August 2011. The company also has teamed up with noted interior, lighting and stereo system outfit Wave and Wheels on its restoration and interior upgrade projects. (A story on an ongoing 377 Hustler/Talon catamaran restoration project will appear on speedonthewater.com later this week.)
