Pier 57 Launches Online Pre-Owned Parts Store

In business for more than 12 years as a new and pre-owned performance boat dealership and service center, Pier 57 Marine has collected an array of go-fast boat parts including props, exhaust, carpets, mufflers, drives, transom assemblies and more. Rather than continuing to store those parts in its Gurnee, Ill. facility, the company has launched an online used parts store as a link on the Pier 57 Marine website.

Simple and easy to navigate, Pier 57 Marine’s online parts store offers a wide selection of pre-owned parts at deeply discounted prices.

Prices for each part are supplied in their individual listing. Listings also include multiple pictures of each part and calculates shipping cost while also allowing easy check out thru PayPal. Sjogren also said that the customer can call, Alan Gordon, Pier 57 Marine’s service manager, with any questions.

“We are giving consumers the opportunity to buy good, clean used parts,” said Scott Sjogren, the owner of Pier 57 Marine. “Some of these parts were swap-outs/take offs that have come from both new and used boat. Some parts are brand new while others are slightly used.

“People can buy and pay for their parts on the site through PayPal,” he continued. “If they’re not happy, they can return the part they bought for a full refund less shipping”

Sjogren estimated that customers can save 30 to 60 percent of what a new item cost depending on the part in question.

“We have headers, mufflers, cockpit carpets, complete engines and engine parts, steering equipment, engine compartment components, billet fender holders and battery boxes, a lot of used gauges and more,” said Sjogren. “And if you’re looking for something specific and don’t find, we are constantly updating the site so you can keep checking back.
