There’s still time to sign up for the event, which kicks off on Friday, Oct. 13, at the host venue, Salty Sam’s Marina. This year’s run includes a fun run on Friday afternoon to Cabbage Key followed by a welcome party at the Parrot Key Tiki Bar and a pub crawl along Fort Myers Beach.

Saturday includes a drivers’ meeting and the start at Salty Sam’s Marina followed by lunch at Cass Cay Restaurant in Burnt Store Marina, and stops at the Gasparilla Card Boat and Sanibel Island before the dinner and awards ceremony back at Salty Sam’s Marina.

This year, Poker Runs America is teasing a new The Joker Goes Wild promotion, which is going to include a “Joker going wild” at one of the stops during Friday night’s pub crawl.

According to the event organizers, there will be lots of prizes and cash, along with first-, second- and third-place trophies for the best poker hands. Registration, which is $590 for driver and navigator, includes two days of docking, launching, trailer parking, Friday’s fun run and welcome party, Saturday’s lunch at the Burnt Store Marina and Saturday night’s dinner and awards ceremony.
