watch19lakeracePresented by Performance Boat Center in conjunction with MTI, the seventh annual Lake Race—the second stop on the American Power Boat Association Offshore Championship Series—takes place this Saturday (June 1) starting with opening ceremonies from Camden on the Lake Resort at 10:30 a.m. CDT, with racing to follow beginning at 11 a.m. Before that, teams and fans will enjoy the “Festival of Speed on Land and Sea” set for Friday evening at the Camden on the Lake race village and the event’s other host location, Shady Gators.

There’s no doubt the place to be is Central Missouri watching the race from Camden on the Lake, Shady Gators or another spot along the new course between the 5 and 9 mile markers, but no need to worry if you can’t be there in person this year. Thanks to Lake TV and the WH Media Group, along with several of their media partners, there are a variety of ways to watch or listen to the 2019 Lake Race.

What’s also exciting is that there is an all-new team of announcers ready to highlight the before, during and after portions of the race. The team includes a recognizable voice for offshore racing fans—Maryland’s Mike Yowaiski—along with William Holtz of WH Media Group, Chris Schneider, sports director at 107.9 The Coyote (the official radio station of Lake Race), and Dan “The Roundman” Caldwell and Kit “KC” Caldwell—both co-hosts of the “KC and The Roundman” afternoon show and co-owners of 107.9 The Coyote.
