SBI Worlds Key West Worlds Schedule by Start Time, Class, Laps and Distance

As it did throughout the 2014 regular season, speedonthewater.com will carry the Livestream online broadcast from the Super Boat International Offshore World Championships this week in Key West, Fla. With four races per day on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the action will begin in the morning and end in the afternoon. While actual start times can and often do change in offshore racing, here’s a look at when each class is schedule to start on each day on the 4.5-mile course, as well as the number of laps and total per-race distance for each class on all race days.

10 a.m.—Manufacturer 3 (start No. 1) and Manufacturer 4 (start No. 2)
4.75 laps for 21 miles Wednesday and Friday—7.75 laps for 35 miles Sunday

12:30 p.m.—Superboat Extreme and Superboat Vee (start No. 1) and Superboat Stock (start No. 2)
6.75 laps for 30 miles Wednesday and Friday (all three classes)—8.75 laps for 39 miles Sunday for Superboat Vee and Superboat Stock; 9.75 laps for 43 miles for Superboat Extreme

1:30 p.m.—Superboat Unlimited
9.75 laps for 43 miles Wednesday and Friday—12.75 laps for 57 miles Sunday

2:30 p.m.—Superboat
9.75 laps for 43 miles Wednesday and Friday—12.75 laps for 57 miles Sunday

The Livestream broadcasts for the SBI Key West Worlds are scheduled to begin 15 minutes prior to the start of each race.
