Sixth Annual Scenic Circle Power Party Set For Lake Of The Ozarks
Invitations for Michael “Doc” Janssens sixth annual Scenic Circle Power Party on Friday during the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Aug. 23-26 in Central Missouri went out via email last week. Held at Janssen’s waterfront home, the afternoon bash will attract a number of Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats owners—Janssen’s 53-footer will be at his docks as well—and various owners of other powerboat brands.

“It’s a powerboating networking event more than anything else,” he said. “I’m sure we’ll have a dozen or so Outerlimits at the docks, but we’re definitely not limited to them,” said Janssen in an offshoreonly.com column on the current state of Outerlimits. “I have friends who own Fountains and MTIs and everything else. All are welcome.”
The event, according to its tongue-in-cheek invitation, has just 12 rules:
1. America first.
2. Family first—only if you like them.
3. Good dancing only.
4. Drink until you talk about yourself.
5. Pee away from others.
6. Trade clothing at your own risk.
7. Absolutely no drama
8. “Hey y’all, watch this,” not allowed.
9. What happens here won’t stay here.
10. Don’t be boring.
11. Women rule
