Skaterfest Lunch Stop: We Get the Hint Pete

After arriving home following dinner with my family Saturday evening, I opened an email from Pete Boden, speedonthewater.com’s chief photographer, with the subject “We need a bigger sign :)” I downloaded his attached image, and have to admit he’s right—especially when the banner was one of the only ones on display at the lunch stop during the sixth annual Skaterfest in Michigan. Squint a little and you’ll see it just left of center at the top.

There will be more to come from the event that featured an amazing variety of catamarans from Skater Powerboats, but because of Boden’s wise-guy comment I couldn’t help but show off his image from Pepper Joe’s in St. Clair.
