Sneak Peek: New Team Gotta Go IV Outerlimits SL 50X

Talk about a juxtaposition.

Earlier today, we published a story on the first Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats sportboat model ever built. Now we’re delivering a few sneak peek images of the latest Outerlimits sportboat completed—a gorgeous SL 50X going to Canada’s Dave Scotto.

Dave Scotto’s Team Gotta Go IV Outerlimits SL 50X is ready to go (click image to enlarge).

Called Team Gotta Go IV in honor of Scotto’s last Outerlimits and the other boats he’s owned, the 50-footer is powered by a pair of dual-calibration Mercury Racing 1550/1350 engines. In a first for Scotto, the new boat is dressed in a Stephen Miles Design paintjob that is reminiscent, though far from identical, to that of the last Team Gotta Go boat.

Outerlimits sales manager Dan Kleitz promises a full-reveal with complete images of the boat next week. Plus, the 52-foot beauty will be on hand during the Outerlimits Factory Fun in August in Bristol, R.I.

But in the meantime, enjoy the photos Kleitz captured yesterday during the boat’s first brief sea trial.
