Speed On The Water 2015 Collectors’ Edition Print Magazine Shipping January 12

Although we had planned to have the Speed On The Water 2015 Special Collectors’ Edition print magazine completed and starting distribution by now, our production schedule proved to be a bit too ambitious. Jason Johnson, speedonthewater.com’s co-publisher and I, do come from the print magazine world and have extensive backgrounds there, but being a two-man production team in everything but art direction has its challenges when you’re trying to produce an exceptional 132-page oversized magazine.

So rather than rush it to make a self-assigned deadline and compromise quality, we talked it over with our printer and opted for an early January print run. That means the perfect-bound, photo-rich issue will be in the mail by January 12—and there’s a good chance it will start mailing earlier than that.
