Speedonthewater/BurgerFi Restaurant Key West Party Update: What’s On The Menu

If you’re in Key West, Fla., for the upcoming Super Boat International Key Offshore World Championships, you’re invited to the 2014 Speedonthewater.com Key West Speed Week Party at BurgerFi Restaurant on Duval Street, Friday, Nov. 7 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Co-hosted by Speedonthewater.com/Speed On The Water digital magazine and BurgerFi Restaurant, last year’s private party was so much fun that we—along with our friends at BurgerFi—decided to open this year’s event to the public.

More of a good thing—for the second year in a row BurgerFi Restaurant and Speedonthewater.com will host a party during the SBI Key West Offshore World Championships.

In addition to a wall of popular sound courtesy of one of Key West’s best DJs, this year’s party will feature:

• The Fireball Bar — An array of specialty shots and drinks featuring Fireball, one of the “hottest” liquor brands in the country.

• Speedonthewater Signature Drinks — Created by BurgerFi exclusively for speedonthewater.com, the party will feature the one-of-a-kind “Speed On The Water” and “Wave Runner” blue specialty drinks.

• Cry and Fry Appetizer — hand cut fries and beer batter rings tossed in parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.

• World’s Best Burgers — Award winning BurgerFi Cheeseburgers and Sliders.

Last year’s party attracted a slew of big names from the offshore racing community and the high-performance marine industry, and commitments to attend this year have been rolling in since we first announced the 2014 event. (Look for a list of those well-known folks in another party update next week.) Performance boat owners from coast to coast, as well as few guests from overseas, also enjoyed hanging out with the “big-name” folks during the casual evening.

Speedonthewater.com’s Jason Johnson and I are looking forward to visiting with old friends, making new ones and closing out the 2014 go-fast boating season with a bang.
