Speedonthewater Trailer Open for Business at Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

Loaded with T-shirts, 2015 and 2016 Year In Review collectible print edition magazines, logoed drink coozies and more, the speedonthewater.com promotional trailer arrived yesterday at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout and Super Cat Fest in Central Missouri. The trailer will be on display Friday through Sunday outside Captain Ron’s Lakefront Bar and Grill, the host venue for the annual top-speed event, as well as at tonight’s Shootout On The Strip Meet And Greet street party and display from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Bagnell Dam Boulevard.

Last seen at the Big Cat Poker Run in Discovery Bay, Calif., the Speedonthewater.com promo trailer will be on display during the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout and Super Cat Fest this week.

The Speedonthewater.com trailer will be displayed as part of the Waves And Wheels exhibit—Waves and Wheels is the title sponsor of tonight’s event.

“Staring Friday we’ll have the trailer right out in front of Captain Ron’s for the weekend,” said Jason Johnson, speedonthewater.com’s co-publisher and executive editor, who hauled the rig from California to Missouri this week. “It’s been four years since we’ve had the trailer at the Shootout, so we’re looking forward to getting it out there for people to see. It’s not as impressive as a new Skater Powerboats 388 catamaran or anything else you’ll find at the docks at Captain Ron’s or at the Camden On The Lake Resort docks, where Super Cat Fest is happening as always, but it’s pretty sweet.

“We’ll have plenty of cool stuff to sell, but you don’t have to buy anything to drop by and say hello,” Johnson said. “(Speedonthewater.com co-publisher/editor) Matt Trulio and I look forward to seeing old friends—and making some new ones.
